Introduction to Music Production

This course is designed to give you a strong foundation in the concepts of music production and culminates in the creation of your own completed song.  Your first course can be completed with just a computer, internet connection and a decent pair of headphones.  Our team of instructors will guide you in building strong production skills while allowing you to exhibit your own unique style in your music.  You will be able to access live video support during instructor "office hours".  Once this course is completed, you will be ready to progress on to our Intermediate Music Production course, starting in January 2021 and utilizing the amazing digital audio workstation known as Bitwig!

Get a better idea of what the full Introduction to Music Production course is all about by taking our 2-week trail version of the course for free.  You'll get access to our music production software, a detailed overview of how to best use it, and lessons on drum programming, creating sounds with synthesizers, bassline construction, and vocals.  In all, you'll have access to about 10% of the full course and you'll understand whether music production is something you'd like to explore further.
