Bassist, Orchestra Director & New England Native

Chris Noyes has been a professional musician and composer/arranger for 15 years. Playing primarily electric and double bass, he has been a member of numerous groups including the Dusty Gray Band,  which won a New England Music Award for “ Best Roots/Americana Act” in 2015.  Currently, Chris performs with the Jordan TW Trio, an acoustic trio playing traditional celtic and celtic rock music.  Chris is also the bassist for TRADE, a 6 piece soul and funk powerhouse.  Chris also does studio sessions and arranging for Rockinghorse Studio in Pittsfield, NH.

Chris graduated summa cum laude from UNH with a bachelors of music degree in Music Education.  In 2012, Chris was hired to teach orchestra Parkside and Hillside middle schools in Manchester NH.  As he grew both programs, Chris took a position as full time Director of Orchestras at the Parkside Middle School.  Chris is excited to be a part of Push The Sound and to share his knowledge and expertise with you.

Chris is a trainer and curriculum developer for Push The Sound's Introductory and Intermediate Production courses, concentrating on melodic elements and composition.
